Nathan Henshaw - Workshops

As an advocate for new music, Nathan has been involved with commissioning, premiering and workshopping many new Australian works for the saxophone over the last few years. As a performer he believes in having an active role in the compositional process so as composers can have a better understanding of the technical capabilities of the saxophone. 	Although many schools have access to great music facilities and teachers, other schools are not always as fortunate. To help promote music in school, Nathan offers a schools music workshop which is designed to help expose students to live music, make students aware of the opportunities that come from music and also help with any existing music program. Workshops are usually tailored to suit the individual school but in the past, Nathan has included in school workshops: Live performances of solo saxophone and saxophone quartet.
